MATERIALS: Cypress, Ipe, Copper, Plant Matter

Rather than 'freezing' materials in a particular state - attempting to stop, or at least slow time with a chemical finish - the table is allowed to weather naturally. The patina of the copper, the silvering of the cypress and the ever-changing plant community within the central void all join a concerted effort to create a piece that gains character over time - a piece that wears in, rather than wears out.
